I love my days off. Especially when the sun is shining and the ground is dry. This means it’s bicycle riding day. Over the summer , John and I have run into some interesting things on our bicycle adventures, and we didn’t have to travel far from home to find them. If you look hard enough, adventures and interesting things can be found anywhere.
Just open your eyes and look around
In other words, take time to ” Smell the Roses” .
Or in this case, smell the daisies. Hiawatha Highlands , and Kinsman Park are located within the city of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.
In the spring, summer, and fall the double track along with the single track make up an amazing network of mountain bike trails. Stream crossings, spectacular views, winding and smooth single track, and double track that rolls through hardwood forest and pine plantations make this area one that beginner to advanced riders can enjoy.
Make sure to wear some bug spray, carry and extra tube , and bring a snack. After a couple of hours of riding around, it’s time to sit and enjoy the scenery.

Well, it’s been fun, but it’s time to get our butts home now , those Pork Curry and Feta Burgers aren’t going to make themselves ! See you in the kitchen.
